The Environmental and Occupational Safety Department has been conducting several meeting with the Schools on the importance of developing online workplace instructions to ensure the compliance with the HSE Training Policy (approved by the Managing Council on 16.08.2022).
And now, we are happy to announce that the School of Medicine has developed the Instruction materials and knowledge checks. The instruction is now available on moodle for employees and students who need access to NUSoM laboratories to complete. The workplace instruction consists of three modules: a general one – Biosafety fundamentals in the NUSOM laboratory, and more detailed on cell culture fundamentals and pathogens. Multiple-choice questions are available for each instruction as well.
We kindly remind about the need to timely complete the online Workplace Instruction as well as have a face-to-face workplace instruction on safe work practices and putting a signature in the Workplace Instruction Logbook.
